DC Collegiate Triathlon Federation

Collegiate Triathlon is one of the fastest growing sports in the nation. Washington, DC is home to nearly a dozen colleges and universities with students participating in age-group, club team and various levels of triathlon and multi-sport competition.

Results International Research and Consulting is partnering with other local and regional organizations to support the safe, sustainable and successful growth of collegiate triathlon in DC by offering mentorship, coaching and resources to help clubs, teams and individuals to bring triathlon through the DC Collegiate Triathlon Federation  to student-athletes (we also support endurance racing and obstacle challenge competition).

USAT NCAA Triathlon
SA Triathlon is proud to serve as the National Governing Body for triathlon, as well as duathlon, aquathlon, aquabike, winter triathlon, off-road triathlon and paratriathlon in the United States. Founded in 1982, USA Triathlon sanctions more than 4,300 races and connects with nearly 500,000 members each year, making it the largest multisport organization in the world. In addition to its work with athletes, coaches, and race directors on the grassroots level, USA Triathlon provides leadership and support to elite athletes competing at international events, including International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Championships, Pan American Games and the Olympic and Paralympic Games. USA Triathlon is a proud member of the ITU and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC).
In January 2014, the NCAA overwhelmingly approved triathlon as the next Emerging Sport for Women for NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III member institutions.

As an Emerging Sport for Women, triathlon embarks on the journey to become a full-fledged NCAA Championship Sport, allowing female triathletes the opportunity to be official NCAA student-athletes and participate in competitive draft-legal racing.
